Times are tough and school budgets are stretched thin. But teachers still need high quality professional development. We think we can help.
Engaging Educators is now offering what we call All-you-can-cram Skyp-inars! Here’s how it works.
Get yourself one computer (with Skype-installed and built-in mic and speakers), one projector, and one room. Then cram that room with as many people as you want. The Engaging Educators will then Skype in and provide a practical and useful workshop on your choice of topics. And you pay the same price, regardless of how many people are in the room.
We think this would be a great idea for a staff meeting. Choose a topic or a tool you want teachers to learn about, cram them all into one room (or auditorium, or basketball arena, etc.), and let us go to work. You pay one low price. In fact our introductory prices are insanely low…starting at $50 per hour!
The topics we could cover in a Skype-inar are nearly limitless. From developing teachers’ Personal Learning Networks to teaching how to set up a classroom blog to podcasting to digital video creation…the list goes on and on. Our mantra is “Personalized, Professional Learning.” We want to make your teachers’ learning deep, rich, relevant and exciting so that they can help make your students’ learning deep, rich, relevant and exciting.
